KOBOLD CAVE ART

Caring for a dragon isn’t easy, but with attention and regular maintenance, just one can see a kobold clan through many generations. Keep them healthy, fed, and entertained with whatever fool thing they decide to hoard, and you’ll have all the protection and dragon-breath-related products you could ask for. And if they lay an egg, you can branch the clan and further secure its future.

Just make sure everything gets documented so those who come after can follow your footsteps.

The Art of Dragonkeeping puts players in the role of kobold artists tasked with documenting the events of their clan and its dragon over many generations.  At the end of the game you will have created your very own piece of art that tells that story.

To play this game you will need:

  • 1 or more players
  • A six-sided die
  • A cave wall (or a piece of paper)
  • Art supplies

Time to play: 30 - 60 minutes, though there are natural breaks after each turn and you can play as long as you wish.

Content: This game consists of a single-sided black-and-white page with rules and roll tables.

I am so great full for the librarian copies. Thank you also for making a list of child appropriate rpgs on your profile. It’s been a great help while I’ve been looking for games to play with my patrons.

I hope you have a wonderful time with the kobold cave art! :)

You’re welcome! I hope they enjoy it. :)

I love the setting for this and it seems like an excellent solo or collaborative world-building game!
